Saturday Rides Starting from Starbucks in Rosemount, MN
I hope you’ve had a good off season and have been able to ride this Winter. The weather is finally warming up enough for us to ride outside, rather than on our smart trainers. As we transition into spring, it's a great time to reconnect with the open road and enjoy the fresh air. Remember to check your gear, charge your batteries, and enjoy the warmer days on your bike.

Saturday is Global Fat Bike Day, so I thought we should celebrate again this year with a ride on the Minnesota River Bottoms Trail. This is an easy, flat trail that anyone can ride. We won't have snow to ride on this weekend, so you can also use a mountain or cycle-cross bike.

Bring extra food and drink, because there won’t be any available during the ride. The intersection of CR 46 and 85 should have been paved this week, so we should be able to get through there fairly easily.

This is a new, temporary 56-mile route that avoids two Dakota County construction projects on our normal route. Some of us rode this route in September and enjoyed the new roads.
