Ride Saturday, July 28

Saturday, we will ride to Prior Lake. We will following the Orchard Lake route for most of the route, since the trail along the Minnesota River is still underwater and we can't use the normal Prior Lake route. This route will be about 55 miles and it will include a stop at Edelwiess Bakery. As usual, we'll leave Rosemount at 08:00.

NorthStar girls who raced Le Tour de la relève internationale de Rimouski

Earlier this month, four girls from the NorthStar Development team — Jenn Mettler, Erika Peterson, Lily Ensign, and Josephine Rimirez — raced in Canada at the Le Tour de la relève internationale de Rimouski. They competed in the five-day race and we helped them get there with a $400 sponsorship to reduce the cost of their trip.

Steve Scholl asked me to pass along that: "Manny Comstock, who is well-known to many RCC members, asked me to share with RCC that he has had some cancellations for this year’s Round Barn Tour in the Viroqua, WI area August 17-19, and can accommodate additional riders. It is two days of riding in scenic, hilly areas around Viroqua, with stops at several round barns. In previous years I, and other RCC members, have gone. Lodging is at a retreat on a river, meals are communal, ending with a barbecue on Sunday before leaving around 2:00 PM." You may call Manny at 612-963-8946.
